Social Programs

Our social programs promote independence, positive relationships, community connection, and access. These programs include our monthly Social Saturday, and occasional overnight trips which allows individuals to get involved in budgeting, grocery shopping and cooking as a group in a supported environment.

Social Saturday

Social Saturday is a group program run once a month. The program focuses on developing participant independence, positive relationships, community connection, and access in a supported environment run by experienced mentors.

Overnight Trips

The overnight trips start Saturday morning and finish Sunday afternoon. Participants will be involved in budgeting, grocery shopping and cooking as a group in a supported environment. There is plenty of time for fun activities to form and maintain friendships while building independent living skills.

Choice

We base all our Social Saturday events on the ideas of our participants. Providing opportunities for participants in group decision-making supports choice and independence in an inclusive environment where their contribution is valued.
