Developmental Education
At Inspire Abilities SA, we work with individuals and their key support networks to facilitate lifelong learning and independence. As disability specialists, we adopt evidence-based approaches to support individuals across the lifespan to ensure the best outcome for individuals and their families. Adopting a multi-intervention approach (1:1, group, and community-based support) allows participants to learn, practise and consolidate skills in supported and realistic settings.
As Developmental Educators we work with families and carers to support:
Physical and emotional well-being
Capacity building including social, communication, self-care, daily living, recreation and employment skills
Collaboration between families, allied health professionals, community, and workplaces
Advocacy
